HOW TO CALCULATE ZAKAH? (زَکوۃ کس طرح نکا لی جا ئے؟)

First, determine the date on which zakat became farz upon you according to the lunar calendar. As per market value on the above date, determine [and put in the below calculator] the value of all assets which you own on the date set above, and on which Zakah will be calculated. Necessary assets on whose value Zakah is to be calculated are given below.

سب سے پہلے زکٰوۃواجب ہونے کی قمری تاریخ کا تعین کرلیں ۔زکٰوۃواجب ہونے کی قمری /اسلامی تاریخ اِس تاریخ کو ملکیت میں موجود قابل زکٰوۃاثاثوں کی مارکیٹ ریٹ کے مطابق مالیت کا تَعَیُّن درج ذیل طریقے سے کیجئے،ضروری اموالِ زکوۃ کیلکولیٹر میں شامل کردئے گئے ہیں۔

Value of assets on which Zakah has to be calculated (قابلِ زکٰوۃاثا ثوں کی مالیت)

Amount (رقم)

1. Gold (سونا)

3. Currency (کرنسی)

Local and foreign currency with current rates. (ملکی وغیرملکی کرنسی مو جودہ ر یٹ)

Money deposited in banks (excluding interest). بینکوں میں جمع شدہ رقم (علاوہ سود)

Prize Bonds (پرائز بانڈز)

Money deposited in provident fund. (پراویڈ نٹ فنڈ میں جمع شدہ رقم)

Money deposited in committee. (بی سی اور کمیشن میں جمع شدہ رقم)

4. Merchandise (مالِ تجارت)

Raw materials in factory etc. (خام مال فیکٹری وغیرہ میں)

Manufactured goods in factory/shop etc. (تیار شدہ مال فیکٹری یا دکان وغیرہ میں)

Plots, houses or flats for trading. (تجارتی پلاٹس، مکان یا فلیٹ)

Business partnership assets on which Zakah is to be calculated. (کاروبار میں شراکت کے قابل زکٰوۃاثاثہ جات)

The amount of total wealth of Zakah کل مال زکٰوۃ(رقم)

AMOUNT TO BE DEDUCTED FROM TOTAL ZAKAH-ABLE WEALTH (i.e. LIABILITIES) وہ رقم جو مالِ زکوٰۃ سے الگ کرنی ہے

Loan, if any (اگر قرضہ لیا ہواہے)

Dues instalments on house, shop, things. (مکان، دکان اشیا ء کی واجب الاداقسطیں)

Remaining payable amount of committee[1] (provided that one has already got the total amount of the committee). (کمیٹی کے بقایاجات جب کےیہ کمیٹی مل چکی ہو)

Utility bills such as the bills of gas, electricity etc. provided that one has got the bills before the Zakah year is complete. (یوٹیلیٹی بلز، بجلی، گیس وغیرہ اگر سال پورا ہونے سے پہلے آچکے ہوں.)

Payables to Dealers (پارٹیوں کی ادائیگیاں)

Salaries of employees. (ملازمین کی تنخواہیں)

Unpaid Zakah of the previous year. (گزشتہ سال کی زکٰوۃجو ادا نہ کی گئی ہو)

Liabilities (منہاشدہ رقم)

Amount on which Zakah has to be calculated (قابل زکٰوۃرقم )

Zakah-computing formula: Total amount to be divided by 40 (زکٰوۃ نکالنے کافار مولا : کل رقم کو 40 پر تقسیم کریں)

Zakah payable
