Hazrat Hakeem Mushtaq Ahmed Naqshbandi Qadri

Hazrat Hakeem Mushtaq Ahmed Naqshbandi Qadri has dedicated his life to serving Islam. His name is Mushtaq Ahmed, and his father's name is Allah Ditta. He was born on the blessed night of Shab-e-Barat in 1974, in the district of Gujrat. His father was a noble and righteous man, and from an early age, Mushtaq Ahmed displayed a deep inclination towards religion.

 

By 1990, Baba Jee Sarkar's life reflected numerous admirable qualities. Among them was his remarkable reverence for Holy sacred pages found on the ground. He had a strong inclination towards attending religious gatherings, which led him to participate in an Islamic congregation. There, he heard a sermon based on the teachings of Hazrat Bishr Hafi (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ), which profoundly impacted him and transformed his life. From that moment onward, his focus shifted towards collecting and preserving any Holy sacred papers bearing the name of Allah (سبحانہ وتعالیٰ) and His beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), which were often found scattered in newspapers, novels, drains, and streets.

 

To uphold the sanctity of these Holy sacred names, he purchased a register in which he carefully preserved any paper bearing the blessed names of Allah and His Messenger, applying fragrance to them and frequently gazing upon them with devotion. However, he remained deeply concerned about the widespread disrespect toward these Holy sacred words. From 1990 to 2010, he carried out this mission alone. During this time, he witnessed increasing instances of disrespect toward the Holy Quran on a large scale. Determined to prevent such irreverence he established a movement. Initially, he pursued this mission alone, dedicating a significant portion of his life to this noble cause.

 

By the grace of Allah, thousands of people have now joined this mission. Many have embraced a righteous way of life, become devout Muslims and offering their prayers regularly. Allah Almighty further blessed this initiative, leading to its expansion under the name Tehreek-e-Azmat-e-Quran. Today in an era of overwhelming distractions, this movement remains steadfast in its efforts to protect the Holy sacred names of Allah and His beloved Prophet (ﷺ) from any form of disrespect.

 

The unique approach of preserving holy pages and preventing their dishonor is unprecedented both in past generations and in the present time. No other organization is engaged in such a noble cause except Tehreek-e-Azmat-e-Quran. By the grace of Allah, this movement now has over 35+ branches across major cities in Pakistan and more than 400 branches in rural areas.
